The project was born with the intention of combining a simple, minimalist, and raw soul with a cosmopolitan, dynamic, versatile, and refined aesthetic, starting from the existing building, the historic Meazza hardware store, and its context, the intimate Milan of the ‘Cinque Vie’ district.
Seen from Piazza Massaia, its appearance may seem haughty in its understated sophistication, but as upon crossing its threshold, the welcoming atmosphere tells a different story.
A large glass-fronted counter immediately reveals the true heart of the project: the operational area of Francesco Capece, talented pizza chef, with a generous 150-square-meter kitchen and a pizzeria with ovens on display.
The spaces unfold one after another and are each structured with a different purpose and identity. Two rooms to the left of the entrance house the more informal dining area. To the right lies the "Croccante"room, a private dining room, intimate yet convivial, with a single communal table.
A stunning space in the basement houses the fine wine cellar of Mario Ventura, the sommelier.
A place where architecture, raw materials, and gastronomic vision blend into an immersive experience combining aesthetic rigor, discreet hospitality, and ongoing experimentation.
The space is balanced in tone and furnishings, with just a few tables accommodating diners, ensuring impeccable and attentive service with refinement and discretion.
The choice of a neutral, almost monochromatic palette, with subtle hints of pastel colors, stems from the desire to let the pursuit of the finest raw materials and the constant experimentation with new, select products take center stage.
